National Sorry Day, on 26 May, is an opportunity to acknowledge the trauma and loss that continues to affect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, and a chance to reflect on shared histories and healing – which is a focus of Reconciliation Week, and follows from 27 May to 3 June.
