New report highlights just how deep Australia’s wealth divide goes
The latest report from ACOSS and the UNSW's Poverty and Inequality Partnership - of which Jesuit Social Services is a member – finds that the gap between those with the most and those with the least in Australia has blown out over the past two decades, highlighting the role of income support payments, housing, taxation and superannuation policy in the growing divide.

Perry House is a residential-based living skills program for young people with intellectual disabilities who are involved with youth justice and correctional services. Perry House provides accommodation and hands-on support to four young people for 12 months, helping them build the essential living skills needed to live independently in the community.

Reconnect provides up to 12 months of transitional assistance to adults exiting prison in Victoria. The program acknowledges and addresses the challenges many people face in successfully returning to the community after their release from prison, and ensures a safer and stronger community by addressing the underlying factors that contribute to re-offending.
