Meet Dut – he’s a participant of our Workplace Inclusion Program currently working at Newman College.
“It is very hard looking for work. All the time, people say they will call you and they don’t call. I worked in a factory for a year and a half in Colac, but they did not give me a full time job and my family wanted to live in Melbourne.
“Now, at Newman College, I know how to work in the kitchen and I do a lot of housekeeping. It’s a very nice job and I learn a lot. Working in the factories is tough, so if I find a full time job in a place like this I will be very lucky and very happy.”
