Dale* struggled with speech and learning difficulties from a young age – and was just 12 years old when he was forced to leave home.

Without a stable place to live, he ended up on the streets and became involved with heroin and other drugs. By the age of 13, he was facing his first prison sentence.

That first time in youth detention set the pattern for the next two decades – one prison sentence after another, with nowhere stable to return to and no support waiting on the outside.

At Jesuit Social Services, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Your gift today can help people like Dale make a safe, supported transition from prison to community – so they can build the life they deserve.

That includes stable accommodation, support to find a job and a dedicated case worker to walk alongside them as they rebuild their lives.

And it can make all the difference. Just ask Dale:

“This place works. It shows. I never thought that I could have changed, looking back 10 years ago. It’s totally different.”
