The Ignatius Learning Centre is a Catholic Specialist Secondary School established by Jesuit Social Services.
Our school provides an inclusive, therapeutic educational environment for young people involved with the Youth Justice System.
We aim to re-engage young people with education pathways to further learning and employment. Our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively with families and carers of students to build a strong, supportive and safe school community.

The curriculum we offer our students is the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL).
Students will work towards completing VCAL (Foundation, Intermediate and Senior); a practical option for students in Years 11 and 12 which provides work-related experience and a qualification, recognised by TAFE institutes and employers, helping students move from school into work, an apprenticeship or traineeship, further training or higher education.

Students will also be able to engage with the network of Jesuit Social Services’ existing programs and services including Artful Dodgers Studios, The Outdoor Experience, Jesuit Community College (a Registered Training Organisation), Employment Pathways programs and Ecological Justice Hub, and will use the sport and recreational facilities in and around Richmond.
