POSTPONED – Werribee: Ready Set Work Barista (Blended Delivery) – Starts 17 Feb

Get ready for the return of hospitality work!

Ready Set Work Barista combines online learning with practical hands on training using a commercial espresso machine.

Government funded program for eligible participants.

Course Delivery: Online learning activities will be delivered via ZOOM the free online video platform. You’ll require internet access and a computer, tablet, or smart device with audio and video functions. Practical training using a commercial espresso machine will be delivered face to face in small groups.

Course content

In this 2 day course you will:

  • Operate a commercial espresso machine
  • Learn about the origins of coffee and coffee art
  • Make a range of coffees
  • Improve your job ready skills
  • Increase your confidence

Course outcomes

At the end of Ready Set Work Barista you will have developed skills and knowledge in:

  • Operating a commercial espresso machine safely
  • Serving customers a range of coffees
  • Barista techniques and coffee art
  • Finding work in the vibrant café scene
