Workshops

The Men’s Project can tailor co-facilitated workshops for staff that draw on The Man Box research, our Modelling Respect and Equality Program as well as speakers from our Just Voices program. To engage staff and promote learning, the workshops would include interactive activities and draw on different types of knowledge including lived experience.

The messages delivered during workshops can be adapted depending on the contexts and objectives that we will identify in partnership with leadership. For example, in a Council we presented to Depot workers about The Man Box as part of Men’s Health Week. The messages and activities raised self-awareness around habits/preconceptions related to masculinities as well as highlighting that change can be driven by everyone including those who are not in positions of official leadership.

Just Voices Speakers Program

The Just Voices Speakers Program connects with the community in unique and unforgettable ways. We offer inspiring motivational keynote speakers, musicians and story tellers from diverse communities, cultures and lived experiences. Our speakers and performing artists share their stories, culture and artistry to open up conversation in an engaging way including about what it means to be a man. Our presentations are different, just like each of our presenters, however all stories come with positive messages of resilience and can be adapted to any age or group size.
