Jesuit Social Services recently participated in a roundtable hosted by the Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Commissioner Micaela Cronin, exploring the question “What do we mean when we say we need to ‘engage men’?”

Following the discussion, stakeholders were invited to provide short submissions to ensure that all opinions, thoughts and ideas were captured appropriately.

Our submission explores:

  • Priorities in understanding the drivers of men and boys’ perpetration of violence against women and girls
  • Key intervention points for engaging with men and boys
  • What we believe is required to work more cohesively across jurisdictions.
