Josh Kennedy and Rosie Batty at Jesuit Social Services 2018 Annual Dinner.

On Saturday 17th March Jesuit Social Services welcomed over 350 guests to our Annual Dinner held in the Members Dining room at the MCG.

Former Australian of the year Rosie Batty delivered the annual Frank Costigan QC Address, and spoke about the need to end gendered violence against women, and praised programs like The Men’s Project that help boys and men to identify the changes they need to make in their lives.

Our CEO Julie Edwards announced Sydney Swans captain Josh Kennedy as the inaugural ambassador for The Men’s Project.

The night also featured staff member Johnny Cheung-Fook speaking about his work, a silent auction, live donation pledges for a program of The Men’s Project plus dancing to round off the evening.

We thank all those who attended our 2018 Annual Dinner and pledged their support for the work of Jesuit Social Services.
