Employment Mentor – Employment Services – Melbourne Metropolitan wide

Improve work-readiness of disadvantaged jobseekers, & engage with employers to identify job opportunities.

About the organisation

Jesuit Social Services is a social change organisation working to build a just society where all people can live to their full potential.

Since 1977, we’ve provided services in some of the most disadvantaged in our community.

We place a high priority on advocacy and are a leader in policy development and research.

About the program

Jesuit Social Services has a history of investing in programs to support people to transition into education, training and jobs. Both experience and research tells us that one of the most reliable pathways out of disadvantage and most effective ways of connecting with the broader community is through employment.

Employment Services is Jesuit Social Service’s major activity to help disadvantaged Victorian jobseekers gain employment. These services are delivered by specialist employment experts who work closely with employers to identify job opportunities and prepare job seekers for those roles.

An attractive salary, plus superannuation and salary packaging is offered, together with ongoing professional and career development.
