The Artful Dodgers Studios was established in 1997 in recognition of the key roles of art, music and culture in both supporting the positive social development of the individual and the creation of a more inclusive and socially just society.
The Artful Dodgers Studios provides an informal, flexible, learning environment that assists young people to develop their skills and competencies in a welcoming and vibrant arts and music space.
It works to enhance young peoples’ artistic skills, work readiness skills, and community connectedness while promoting health and wellbeing. Young people can choose to access the Studios’ facilities and/or participate in the range of art, music and performance programs on offer.
When appropriate, participants are then supported to further engage in education, training and employment through the support available from Jesuit Community College and the range of Workplace Inclusion initiatives.
Competitive remuneration, plus salary packaging benefit, is offered together with ongoing professional and career development.
