Get ready for the return of hospitality work!

Ready Set Work Barista is a practical course designed to prepare people for work in the vibrant café scene or further training.

This is a non-accredited course

Course Details:

Location: Fleming Park Hall, 104 Victoria Street, Brunswick East 3057
Dates: March 15 & 16
Time: 9:45AM – 3:30PM

Government funded program for eligible participants.

Eligibility: Permanent Resident and/or Australian Citizen/New Zealand Citizen and not enrolled in secondary school (government, non-government, independent, Catholic or home schooling)

Course content

In this 2 day course you will:

• Operate a commercial espresso machine
• Learn about the origins of coffee and coffee art
• Make a range of coffees
• Improve your job ready skills
• Increase your confidence

Course outcomes

At the end of Ready Set Work Barista you will have developed skills and knowledge in:

• Operating a commercial espresso machine safely
• Serving customers a range of coffees
• Barista techniques and coffee art
• Finding work in the vibrant café scene
