Established in 2002 to meet the need for a coordinated community response to suicide, StandBy is Australia’s leading suicide postvention program. Jesuit Social Services delivers this service in Victoria in North Western, South Eastern, and Eastern Melbourne, and Gippsland.

Victoria Police Diversity Recruitment ProgramThe Victoria Police Diversity Recruitment Program seeks to increase the representation of people from under-represented cultural communities in the Victoria Police recruitment process. This includes, but is not limited to, First Nations Peoples of Australia applicants, Maori or Pasifika applicants and applicants who are of Middle Eastern, East Asian, South Asian, South American and African heritage.This program is delivered by Jesuit Social Services, Victoria Police and Victoria University with support from Africause, MatchWorks, Maurice Blackburn Lawyers and AMES Australia and focuses on addressing the challenges encountered by people from under-represented communities who apply to join Victoria Police. The program is designed to assist and provide support to applicants.
